Day 8 of the Legacy Notebook Series and the last item in the financial section

Whew. We are done with the debt topics and are moving on to something so mundane you might wonder why we are even bothering, but stay with me. Today’s tasks are super easy and won’t take more than a few minutes, but will be really helpful to your family if/when they need it.

Things like getting the light bill paid after my uncle’s death were way more difficult than they needed to be, simply because we didn’t have any information for reference and didn’t have access to his online account.

Utility Accounts
For those that have been following along each day, you know the drill. Use this worksheet to capture the details for each of your utility accounts. If you want to just use the worksheet, add contact phone numbers for each account. If you prefer, just print out recent bills for each account and include those in your notebook since they will list contact information for each service provider.

Today’s Action Items:

  • Put your completed utility account worksheet in your notebook
  • Print out recent account statements/documentation for each account for your notebook
  • That’s it! You are done with the financial section. **dance party**

thanks for reading,
Lesley
